How to wear
How to style a one-shoulder top
A one-shoulder top does most of the work on its own, so the rest of the outfit can stay quiet.
Keep the bottom half simple
A straight-leg trouser or a column skirt in a solid tone lets the neckline lead. Avoid anything with its own detailing at the waist, since the eye should travel upward.
Jewellery on the bare side
One earring will read differently on each side with an asymmetric neckline. A single statement earring, or a cuff on the bare arm, tends to look more considered than a full set.
Mind the strap line
Our tops are lined with built-in support, so nothing needs to show. If you are layering for cooler weather, a fine knit worn open keeps the shoulder visible.
Day into evening
The same top works with denim in the afternoon and with a satin skirt at night. Changing the shoe usually does more than changing the top.
