Behind the design
The fabrics we use, and why
Occasion wear asks a lot of a fabric. It has to hold a shape through a long evening, photograph well under warm light, and still feel light enough to move in.
Viscose shimmer georgette
A fine, fluid weave with a soft sheen rather than a hard shine. It drapes close to the body and catches light without looking metallic, which is why it works for evening pieces that need movement.
Buttercrepe lining
Lining is the part nobody sees and everybody feels. Buttercrepe has enough body to keep a bodice structured and a skirt from clinging, and it sits smoothly against the skin.
Organza
Crisp and lightweight, organza holds volume on its own. We use it where a silhouette needs air, such as ruffles and sleeves that should stand slightly away from the body.
Every piece carries a care label. Most of our fabrics are dry clean only, and shimmer surfaces should be steamed from a distance rather than pressed directly.
